A modern­ day bistro, the Lou Bird’s team looks forward to welcoming the Rittenhouse and Graduate Hospital neighborhoods to its intimate bar, dining room and cafe­style outdoor seating. Lou Bird’s strives to provide the kind of food, beverage and hospitality that its guests will share great stories about. With owners Norris and Debbie Jordan, chef Natalie Maronski and GM Joshua Jenkins at the helm, Lou Bird’s aims to take flight as a proud new destination within the ever­growing Center City restaurant scene. NOrris Jordan

Owner Norris Jordan, who with his wife Debbie Jordan also own the Happy Rooster on the corner of 16th and Sansom streets in Philadelphia, live in the Rittenhouse neighborhood mere blocks from Lou Bird’s with their 10­ year ­old daughter, Lexi. Norris Jordan, the owner of WNJ Capital by day, served as designer for the overhauled space and created a restaurant with the neighborhood in mind. The Jordans' desire is to provide a casual but elevated and elegant environment, in a friendly, social, and comfortable setting. 


Chef Natalie Maronski

Executive Chef Natalie Maronski comes to Lou Bird’s after spending nearly 10 years with Garces Restaurants, mostly recently serving as Chef de Cuisine of locally beloved Chifa and the Forbes Five Star­ rated Volver. The Drexel University ­trained chef has also worked in such notable kitchens at Picholine in New York City and Lacroix at The Rittenhouse in Philadelphia. Lou Bird’s marks Chef Maronski’s first executive role.
